Our City Our Story
2021 marks 150 years since the first local government was elected in Canning. To mark the occasion we want to celebrate our City; our people, our places and our stories that make us Canning.
We will be hosting more neighbourhood community events, celebrating people in our community doing great things and reflecting on the stories of our past that have created the wonderfully diverse City we enjoy today and are building in the future.
We will also be sharing stories that showcase the vibrancy, diversity and history of our community so be sure to check back regularly as we upload more amazing content throughout 2021.
